CREATİVE WİKİ PAGE

Hi everyone!  This post is about creating a wiki page and  I created this wiki page with my friend Ceren Cömert. We used wikispace as a tool to write a review about a film. .I think Wiki is a really helpful tool because you can create your own page and share whatever you want. We shared our ideas and some photos about the film that we have chosen. You can see down below our wiki page with the help of some photos:

Creating this page collaboratively wasn't that hard for us because we were always in contact. Wiki is really useful for collaborative work.


 We've chosen the film(La La Land) and photos together. The reason why we wanted to write a review about La La Land is because both of us watched the film and we really enjoyed it. We also recommend you to watch it as soon as possible. J

In the process of creating the review we had some difficulties about uploading photos but generally it wasn’t so difficult for us to create a wiki page. We had also a lot of fun creating a new page so it was a great experience for us.

Vocaroo Voice Message

Hi everyone! In my third post I created a podcast with my friend Ceren Cömert. We created a new song and wrote lyrics for children using the original Smurf song. We used Vocaroo  to record our voices. It was difficult for us to find a suitable place to record but we were able to find an empty classroom. And beacause the classroom was empty there were echoes on the recording. Sorry for that :)  Being in pair helped us a lot about the preparation process.

We hope that this podcast will be helpful for teachers who want to teach their students some adjectives and simple grammatical forms in a funny  way. Students can memeorize the lyrics easily and sing the song. This way they will be able to learn in a different way. So this is both informative and entertaining.

21st CENTURY LEARNİNG

       

            Hi everyone! In my second post I’m going to talk about  21st century learning and its current place. 21st century learning is about combining  technology and teaching skills and being able to use them together in an effective way.

21st century learning is learner and technology centered. There are some elements however that should be mastered in 21st century in order to be successful in life and work.  The content knowledge is the mastery of fundamental subjects, for example English, World Languages, Arts, Mathematics, Economics, Geography and History.

Learning and innovation skills are about creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration.

In information and media skills it is essential to be able to create evaluate and effectively utilize information, media and technology.

 And finally essential life and career skills include flexibility& adaptability, initiative& self-direction, social& cross-cultural Skills, productivity& accountability and leadership& responsibility.

WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Who Am I? 

   I am Buse Nur Bozkurt. I am from Bursa and I am 20 years old. I completed my high school education in 2015 at Bursa and now I am a student at Marmara University, İstanbul studying English Language Teaching. 

   I like being able to speak different languages and to communicate with other people and maybe teaching the languages that I have learned. This is why I have chosen this departmant. I hope also that this blog will be helpful for you. 

   Apart from that, I love everything about music. I am not an extrovert person and when I put my earphones I become even more introvert. Another passion for me is travelling. I have this "cliche" dream about travelling around the world some time.(of course with some music playing in the backround). I will not also forget to take pictures of the beautiful places that I will visit some day.
